Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Lead Pharmacy Technician to join the Oncology Services within our Pharmacy team, with a salary of up to £52,000.
What will your duties include?
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in audits, service evaluations and quality improvement within oncology pharmacy.
- Proactively implement local and national medication safety directives, ensuring the medication safety agenda is taken forward effectively within oncology.
- Oversee day-to-day oncology medicines management, including support on ward-prepared monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).
- Process Systemic Anti‑Cancer Treatment (SACT) prescriptions in accordance with local and national standards; support dispensing coordination and timely medicines supply.
- Line manage Pharmacy Technicians working within oncology and oversee operational delivery of technician services in oncology.
What we need from you?
- Pharmacy Technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) (Essential).
- NVQ3 Pharmaceutical Sciences plus BTEC or equivalent (Essential).
- Accredited Checking Technician qualification (Essential).
- Medicines Management Technician qualification (Essential).
- Practice/Education Supervisor Course via HEE (Essential).
- Substantial experience working within oncology pharmacy services.
