Instrument Coordinator
The Droitwich Spa Hospital is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare.
This full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) requires a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include
- Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation, liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.
- Ensure all instruments are clean, functional, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.
- Assist in the ordering, rotation, and replenishment of theatre consumables, ensuring alignment with Circle Health Group's preferred suppliers and procurement policies.
- Support the theatre team in delivering seamless surgical services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Work closely with theatre practitioners, sterile services, procurement, and external providers to ensure clarity and continuity in equipment and stock availability.
- Ensure all instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
