My name is Annabel Brannan, Senior CBT for The NHS Kirklees Talking Therapies Service. NHS Kirklees Talking Therapies provides psychological therapies for people experiencing depression and anxiety. We are keen to hear from suitably experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals who are focused on providing high quality patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will work within a busy Talking Therapies team providing time limited, evidence-based therapy in accordance with NICE guidance within a stepped care model.
Our team provide NICE compliant psychotherapy incorporating CBT, Counselling and Guided Self Help to clients in primary care across Kirklees. This is an 8-8 service Monday to Friday. We offer sessions either by video, telephone or face to face.
Kirklees Talking Therapies are also dedicated to providing a supportive working environment for employees, and are keen to support staff with their development, providing a high level of training and supervision to clinical practitioners at all levels.
All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to have their up-to-date flu vaccination to protect staff and patients.
Main duties of the job: As a High Intensity CBT Therapist, you will be working with clients who have a range of anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. You will hold a caseload of clients, as well as managing other duties. We welcome newly qualified applicants, as well as clinicians who have experience of managing a caseload.
