Main duties of the job:
- As an integral part of the team, the post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of physiotherapy in the team.
- You will be part of the therapy resource providing an urgent care response, as well as supporting discharge from A&E.
- Providing assessment, support planning and interventions to meet the person's needs in the community ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
- As a service, we are innovative, forward thinking and encourage staff engagement.
- You will have the opportunity to be involved in service/quality improvement and develop leadership skills as well as supervising rotational Physiotherapist, Therapy assistants and engage in student placement education.

Education & Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification to degree level or equivalent in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Post Graduate specialist qualification/significant post graduate experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Broad and specialist knowledge of relevant patient conditions and therapy interventions
- Demonstration of knowledge of core and specialist Therapy skills
- Evidence of ongoing CPD in relevant area
- Experience of multi-disciplinary communication, assessments and record keeping
- Computer Skills including word processing and e-mail
Experience:
- NHS or equivalent experience in a variety of settings
