About the role:
Working alongside our Practice Manager, you'll gain hands‑on experience of what it takes to help run a successful dental practice. You'll be supported to develop your skills across areas including team leadership, patient experience, practice operations, compliance, diary management and practice performance. You'll also have the opportunity to step up as Duty Manager when required, giving you valuable experience and responsibility.
Your role will include:
- Supporting the Practice Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the practice
- Supporting the team and helping resolve operational challenges
- Helping deliver an excellent patient experience
- Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
- Following up outstanding treatment and supporting patient engagement
- Supporting recalls and patient reactivation
- Helping coordinate more complex patient journeys
- Supporting Open Days, marketing activity and patient communications
- Supporting new starters with onboarding and development
- Getting involved in audits, compliance and practice improvement projects
- Supporting practice administration and correspondence
- Learning how practice performance is monitored and identifying opportunities to improve
You won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll have the support of an experienced Practice Manager while you learn, develop and build your management experience.
