We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist – Inpatients to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
- Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
- Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
