Our team is made up of clinical specialists, team leads, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy technicians who work collaboratively.

Main duties of the job

• You will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients with upper limb problems.
• Throughout your role, you'll be building relationships with new multi-disciplinary teams and developing and enhancing your professional career with unique benefits, opportunities and incentives such as:

Person Specification

Knowledge and Experience

• Essential: Demonstrates a breadth of experience across core areas at band 5 (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with upper limb, hand and wrist pathologies.
• Experience of assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Desirable: Previous experience of thermoplastic splinting.

• Essential: Demonstrates a commitment to own professional development.

Skills and Abilities

• Essential: Ability to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrate assessment, analytical and reflective skills across a diverse patient group.

Education and qualifications

• Essential: Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Health and Care Professions Council registered.
• A variety of experience in core areas as post graduate physiotherapist i.e. musculoskeletal, T&O, respiratory and neurological dealing with a wide range of patients with differing needs.

Skills and abilities

• Essential: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and delegate.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to effectively perform patient assessments and interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic handling.
• Ability to cope in a stressful environment undertaking moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day and carry out concurrent activities.
• Competent Information Technology skills.
• Experience of supervision of other staff e.g. assistants/technical instructors/students.
• Desirable: Ability to effect and manage change.
