Qualifications & Experience
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent)
- Postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation (desirable)
- Understanding and empathetic approach to patients and staff alike

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting‑edge practices, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
- Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
- Participate in departmental audits and the Quality Assurance programme.
- Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
- Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
- Competency in intravenous cannulation and administration of contrast media is essential.
- Provide input to review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
- Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
- Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
