Overview
MRI/CT Radiographer – Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, Permanent contract, Full time. Salary £40,000 – £47,500 per annum (depending on experience). 37.5 hours per week.
Work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a leading cardiac services hospital. Prior experience in Cardiac MRI and/or CT and familiarity with Siemens equipment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with leading practitioners and cutting‑edge practices, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
- Responsible for MRI safety in line with local rules.
- Operate within IRMER and own scope of practice, complying with the HCPC code of conduct.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programmes.
- Support the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
- Maintain equipment safety, report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
- Competency in intravenous cannulation and administration of contrast media.
- Update and implement departmental policy and procedural changes.
- Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
- Maintain records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Participate in on‑call rota.
Qualifications and Requirements
- BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge (desirable).
- Experience in a wide variety of MRI scans, including Cardiac MRI and/or CT (highly desirable).
