About This Role
We are currently recruiting for a Registered Staff Nurse to join our team at Lakeview Care Home on a bank shift basis. At Lakeview, we provide Complex Dementia Care, Dementia Nursing Care, and Nursing Care in a supportive and compassionate environment.
This flexible bank position includes the following shift patterns:
- Days: 8:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- Nights: 8:00pm – 8:00am
As a Registered Staff Nurse, you will work as part of the clinical team and take a lead role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Lead and support the care team during shifts.
- Ensure all care is delivered in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and realistic care plans for residents.
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and elevate concerns appropriately.
- Support the provision of medical, optical, and dental services where required.
- Maintain high standards across nursing, therapeutic, nutritional, and housekeeping care.
- Identify and respond promptly to safeguarding and health & safety concerns.
- Work closely with the Care Home Manager to review standards and recommend improvements.
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect for every resident.
What We're Looking For
- A Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC pin.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding resident care.
- Experience within elderly care, dementia care, or nursing home settings is desirable.
