We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP (4 sessions per week) to join our stable and experienced team across Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Surgery. Serving approximately 7,000 patients, we have a well-established population with low deprivation, enabling us to focus on delivering personalised, patient-centred care.
We recognise the importance of a sustainable workload. Our GPs benefit from capped appointment numbers, 15-minute appointments, low home visit rates supported by a dedicated Home Visiting Paramedic, and access to an extensive multidisciplinary team including Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists and Mental Health Practitioners through Wetherby PCN.
You'll be joining a collaborative practice with daily clinical huddles, regular MDT meetings, excellent nursing and administrative support, and a strong culture of teamwork. We are consistently high QOF achievers, participate in enhanced services, and operate an on-site dispensary at our Bramham branch.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services across our two surgery sites, delivering safe, effective care to a stable practice population of approximately 7,000 patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking routine and urgent consultations (face-to-face, telephone and digital)
- Assessing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribing safely
- Reviewing clinical correspondence and pathology results
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Contributing to continuity of care
You will work closely with our experienced multidisciplinary team, including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners and Care Coordinators. The role also includes participating in daily clinical huddles, MDT meetings, QOF, Enhanced Services, clinical governance, appraisal, mandatory training and practice development.

Wetherby & Bramham Surgery is a friendly, progressive GMS practice providing high-quality primary care from two sites: Wetherby Surgery and Bramham Surgery. We care for approximately 7,000 patients across Wetherby and the surrounding villages, serving a stable population with relatively low levels of deprivation.
Our partnership also includes South Milford Surgery. Whilst South Milford Surgery and Wetherby & Bramham Surgery are part of the same GP partnership, each practice has its own registered patient list and is a member of a different Primary Care Network, allowing each practice to retain its own identity while benefiting from shared leadership, expertise and resources.
Our experienced multidisciplinary team includes GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners and an experienced administration and reception team.
We consistently achieve excellent QOF performance, participate in Enhanced Services and dispense medication to almost half of our patient population through our on-site dispensary at Bramham Surgery.
