Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner – Scrub (RGN / ODP)

Employment type: Bank | Part Time (includes weekend work)

Location: Exeter Hospital | Nursing

Pay: Up to £26.50 per hour depending on experience

You will work as a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital. You are registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment, you will be a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which may include Surgical First Assist training.
