Rheumatology Registered Nurse Exeter

Job summary

You will play a key role in the delivery and coordination of osteoporosis and biologic treatment services. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will support patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring a high standard of clinical care and an excellent patient experience.

• Coordinating and overseeing the osteoporosis treatment pathway.
• Managing patient engagement and supporting individuals through their treatment programmes.
• Conducting telephone clinics and follow-up reviews for patients receiving osteoporosis therapies.
• Administering osteoporosis treatments and intravenous biologic medications within the infusion unit.
• Ideally IV experience
• Monitoring patients during treatment and providing appropriate education and support.
• Working collaboratively with rheumatology consultants, specialist nurses, administrative colleagues, and the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist rheumatology service, supporting the delivery of osteoporosis and biologic treatment pathways. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, provide clinical support and education, and deliver treatments, helping to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
