Role Purpose

As Communications Lead for the UK you will be responsible for shaping, protecting, and amplifying the brand's voice across all external touchpoints for the market. This role leads consumer storytelling, messaging, PR, and content strategy to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact across markets and channels. The ideal candidate is both a strategic communications leader and a hands‑on communicator who can translate business objectives into compelling narratives.

What You'll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months

  • Translate company vision, values, and strategy into clear and compelling corporate, medical and consumer communication
  • Support and evolve the brand narrative, positioning, tone of voice, and messaging framework
  • Lead public relations strategy, including media relations, thought leadership, press releases, and crisis communications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, agencies, and key external stakeholders
  • Drive proactive messaging / thought leadership around proactive healthcare
  • Input into content strategy across brand campaigns, editorial, social, and owned channels
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to develop integrated brand and communication campaigns
  • Ensure storytelling is insight-driven, culturally relevant, and audience‑centric
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing brand communications team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in brand communications, PR, leading consumer communication strategy and projects
  • Strong background in media relations, storytelling, and content leadership; strong network and built relationships with media
  • Experience building and leading high‑performing teams
  • Experience in a fast‑growing, global, and matrixed environments
  • Crisis communication and reputation management experience
  • Strong expertise in digital, social, and emerging communication platforms
  • Strategic thinking with creative problem‑solving and focused execution
  • Strong editorial judgment and storytelling instincts
