Community Neuro Team Band 6 Occupational Therapist
We are looking for an individual with neuro experience and a keen interest in neuro rehabilitation to join the community neuro rehab team in Croydon.
The successful candidate will provide a range of specialised rehabilitation OT input to patients with neurological conditions, enabling them to maximise their independence. The post holder is an autonomous practitioner but will work under the supervision of a Band 7 Occupational therapist and will be expected to work in a variety of settings including Broad Green Centre, the patient’s own home and other community settings, as required.

Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join the Croydon Community Neuro Rehab Team, a multidisciplinary team based at the Broad Green Centre.
The successful candidate will be supervised and supported by an experienced Band 7 OT and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in neuro rehabilitation. Person Specification
Education and Qualification
- BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC Registered as OT
Desirable
- Postgraduate training relevant to neuro
Knowledge and Understanding
Essential
- Knowledge of a range of OT models and up‑to‑date with trends and developments in OT neuro rehab.
- Awareness of clinical guidelines in neuro rehabilitation.
Experience
Essential
- Postgraduate training incorporating experience in a variety of relevant core specialities, including stroke rehab.
- Experience working as an OT with adults in NHS.
Desirable
- Previous OT Band 6 experience with adults.
- Previous Community Band 6 OT experience with adults.
