We are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Sexual Health Nurse to join our bank team in Coventry and Warwickshire, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced sexual health service. This is an exciting opportunity to work as an autonomous practitioner within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a wide range of sexual health and contraception services.

What Youll Be Doing
- Providing nurse-led clinics for sexual health, contraception, and STI management
- Delivering and managing long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) including implants and IUD/IUS
- Supporting patients with screening, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care
- Offering health promotion, education, and counselling to improve patient outcomes
- Managing your own caseload autonomously while contributing to team-based care
- Supporting the day-to-day running of clinics and ensuring smooth service delivery
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to junior colleagues
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
- FSRH Diploma (or equivalent) in contraception
- STIF Foundation (Intermediate desirable)
- Proven experience in sexual health services (Band 6 or experienced Band 5)
- Competence in implant and IUD/IUS fitting & removal (essential)
- Experience working with Patient Group Directions (PGDs)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Desirable:
- Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
- Experience in HIV care, STI symptomatic screening, or sexual health advising
- Teaching or mentorship experience
*Travel across Coventry & Warwickshire is required.

£23.89 per hour. Self-booking and access to all bank shifts! Staff are given access to all Bank shifts within their Business Unit and can self-book providing they meet the shift requirements. Request a Duty Staff can make shifts or Day Off requests prior to the creation of a roster up to six weeks in advance.
