Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor (Lot 3)

IPRS PFAS are an independent provider of quality medical assessments using a network of specialist health practitioners based in various clinics, mostly around the Southeast of the UK.

We are looking for a Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor to join our team and use your clinical expertise to support and develop our new entrants as they begin their journey as Functional Assessors.

The Role

As a Clinical Trainer & Functional Assessor for IPRS PFAS, you will combine your clinical expertise with your passion for developing others.

You will deliver engaging training, support new entrants throughout their learning journey, assess competency and provide constructive feedback.

You will help colleagues build the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality and consistent assessments every day.

Your success will help our new entrants develop into confident, capable Functional Assessors equipped with the clinical knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments.

You will play a key role in creating a strong learning culture, supporting consistent standards and helping our teams deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • To carry out detailed Functional Assessments and examinations, accurately interpreting and critically analyzing all the evidence to create a professional and concise report.
  • To demonstrate a strong command of written English within reports, including accurate spelling and grammar.
  • Ensure professional standards are maintained in all work and that you adhere to your professional code of conduct.
  • To provide a positive experience for the claimant and any companions.
  • To set a positive example to colleagues, clients and claimants through work quality, productivity and attitude.
  • To work autonomously and as a team to meet quality and productivity targets and standards agreed between PFAS and its Healthcare Partners and to proactively seek support and respond positively to feedback to achieve these.
