We are now looking for a full‑time Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our Ten Clinical team.
This role is suited to someone who wants to build a long‑term career in private healthcare, working with complex and chronic conditions while developing strong Pilates expertise within a premium environment.
Dynamic Reformer Pilates Training
All successful candidates will complete Ten’s funded Dynamic Reformer Pilates Academy prior to teaching.
Depending on experience, you will attend either our 2‑day conversion course or full 8‑day training pathway.
This ensures every Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Ten delivers movement coaching that meets our clinical and brand standards.
About the role
You will support clients managing chronic and complex conditions including cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and musculoskeletal presentations.
Your focus will be prevention, rehabilitation, progressive conditioning and long‑term health optimisation.
Alongside clinical delivery, you will contribute to studio occupancy through teaching Dynamic Reformer Pilates.
- Your responsibilities
- Clinical Delivery
- Deliver one to one Clinical Exercise sessions, building from a minimum of 20 sessions per month
- Design and implement evidence based programmes for chronic and complex conditions
- Apply structured load management and progressive conditioning principles
- Build and manage a growing clinical caseload
- Monitor outcomes and adapt programmes based on clinical reasoning
- Support long term adherence and retention
- Dynamic Reformer Pilates
- Teach 20 to 25 DRP classes per week
- Deliver high quality coaching with strong movement standards
- Progress clients appropriately from rehabilitation to strength and performance
- Collaboration and Standards
- Work closely with Physiotherapists, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Sports Therapists and Pilates Instructors
- Contribute to shared client care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Uphold clinical governance, health and safety and brand standards
- Support reception and marketing initiatives where required
- What you will bring
Essential
- Degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Biokinetics or equivalent qualification at degree level
- Strong interest in Pilates and commitment to complete our DRP Academy prior to start
- Experience working with clinical populations or complex health presentations
- Strong clinical reasoning and programme design capability
- Professional communication skills and client facing confidence
Desirable qualifications
- Strength and Conditioning qualification
- Sports Therapy qualification
- BACPR Level 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Oncology Rehabilitation training
- Women’s Health training
- Minimum 2 years experience delivering structured exercise or rehabilitation sessions
