The role

With a flexible and patient‑focused approach, you will have experience of building excellent relationships with patients and customers (both internal and external) to ensure we are delivering high standards of care and service.

As a Radiographer, you will be part of a small, close‑knit innovative team. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service at Euxton Hall Hospital, and cross site to Buckshaw Hospital and Fulwood Hall Hospital where required. You’ll work across General Radiology and theatre as well as supporting the on‑call service and working evening/weekends as required. This is a fixed term contract until November 2027.

Where you’ll be based

Opened in 1983, Euxton Hall Private Hospital is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals situated on the outskirts of Chorley but close to Preston and Wigan with easy access to the M65, M6 and M61 motorways. The facility offers 22 beds all with en suite facilities to ensure complete privacy and by investing in advanced medical technology offers a wide range of treatments and services. On site there are two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres and a small treatment room. You will also be required to work across Buckshaw Hospital (Chorley) and Fulwood Hall Hospital (Preston).

What you’ll bring with you

  • Diploma or degree in diagnostic Radiography
  • HCPC registration and evidence of post registration development
  • SOR IV cannulation certificate desirable
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
  • Ability to participate in on call rota and work evening/weekends as required
  • Knowledge of IRMER and IRR
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • To be flexible, adaptable and be able to demonstrate a patient focused attitude to delivery of the highest standards of clinical care
  • General/theatre imaging experience
