Job summary
North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team working across our main surgery and our new modern purpose-built branch surgery, Beaulieu Healthcare Centre. This position is offered on a part-time basis, working either Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Thursday and Friday.
Main duties of the job
- Childhood immunisations
- Cytology
- Contraception
- Wound dressings
- Adult immunisations
- ECGs/BPs
- Health monitoring and management
- NHS travel vaccines
- Asthma or Diabetes Management (qualified or willingness to undertake training) - preferrable

The role will be offered subject to DBS, satisfactory references and proof of immunisation history relevant to the role.
Qualifications
Essential
- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
Experience
Essential
- Applicants must have experience working as a Practice Nurse in General Practice and be qualified in the above areas listed in the job description.
