About Flok Health

Every healthcare system in history has been a fundamental trade-off between quality and scale - our mission is to change that. We're building a new category of AI-native healthcare provider, using full-stack care automation to deliver world-class treatment at population scale. Our AI physiotherapy clinic is already democratising access to 24/7 healthcare for NHS patients across the UK, and we're just getting started.

The Role

We're transforming how patients interact with their healthcare, and what a 'clinician appointment' really means. We're also doing this within large public healthcare systems, which means taking a very broad range of patients through a radically new tech-enabled experience. Our early product has become the first fully autonomous healthcare pathway in Europe, and we're now expanding our scope into new clinical pathways and markets. Having raised Series A, we're looking for someone to fully own and run the product function at Flok. This person will have responsibility for short and long-term roadmaps, product strategy & marketing, and growth of the product function/team. The ideal person to do this would be an entrepreneurial leader who has built & scaled a successful web/mobile product before, and wants to join a small team where there will be lots of hands‑on work as well as high-level strategic ownership. We want someone who cares about impact, is able to deeply understand and represent our patients, and can think and communicate very clearly about the patient experience and roadmap trade-offs. You'll have autonomy and real ownership to figure out how we should continue creating this new category of fully autonomous care, and to help us win in the UK and elsewhere.

What We’re Looking For

  • Obsession with user experience and behaviour. You have an excellent instinct for how people interact with a product, and for what they (really) want. No detail is too small for you, and you strongly believe that patients should love their healthcare.
  • Strong interest in what AI and computing can do. You're curious about technology and how it can solve problems people have. You'll be an early adopter of the latest tools to accelerate product decisions and delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You'll do a lot of writing, presenting, convincing, and explaining.
  • A track record of using both data and instinct/taste to make great decisions. You're creative in obtaining supportive data, often learning very quickly and moving on.
  • Ability to interact fluently with design and engineering colleagues. Ensure that the best ideas get done in the best way.
  • The ability to think insightfully about both the big picture, and the smaller steps that get us there.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience building patient-facing digital healthcare products with a focus on engagement.
  • Experience building regulated medical device products.
  • Previous experience as a founder building something from the ground up.

What We Offer

  • Challenging work at the frontier of AI-native healthcare.
  • In‑person collaborative culture in a beautiful work space in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
  • An onsite gym and digital health subscription of your choice.
  • Early stage equity with employee‑friendly terms (via an EMI scheme).
  • Comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and optical) and life insurance.
  • Optional remote working on Wednesdays, with an annual allowance of 10 extra remote days.
  • Desk setup allowance for your favourite keyboard / mouse / whatever!
  • Monthly team feasts (and the BBQ is used most days).
  • A fast paced work environment geared towards excellence and professional growth (with annual training budget).
  • A chance to have a big impact in a small team transforming care and outcomes at population scale.

About Flok

More than a billion people a year suffer unnecessarily from conditions like MSK pain, where the right treatment approach is well-established but undeliverable at scale. We're changing that. Our team has deep expertise across clinical, engineering, and regulated AI, has a track record of healthtech innovation, and is backed by top VCs and multiple unicorn founder angels. If you like solving hard problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare, the pursuit of excellence, working in an in‑person collaborative environment, and taking ownership to have significant impact in a fast‑growing mission‑driven company with big ambitions, then you'll fit right in!
