In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population, managing a wide range of acute and long-term conditions within a general practice setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care while also contributing to service development and quality improvement within the practice.

We have a strong, enthusiastic team consisting of 5 GPs, 1 Nurse Consultant, 1 ANP, 1 Clinical Pharmacist and an experienced nursing team, all working together from modern, purpose-built premises. Job responsibilities
Salaried GP key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking clinical consultations, both face-to-face and remote, for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients appropriately, including prescribing and referral where necessary
- Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions, ensuring continuity and holistic management
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate medical records
- Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support coordinated patient care
- Participating in practice meetings, clinical governance activities, and service development initiatives
- Contributing to quality improvement, audit, and patient safety processes
- Supporting the practice's commitment to education, including involvement in training and mentoring where appropriate
Practice Responsibilities
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team including GPs, GP trainees, ANPs, ACPs, pharmacists, nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff
- Actively participate in weekly practice meetings and LTIs
- Contribute to case discussions, shared learning, and continuous service development
- Provide clinical leadership, advice, and support to colleagues as appropriate
- Enhanced Services, IIF & QOF
- Support delivery of QOF, IIF, and locally commissioned services
- Play an active role in chronic disease management and population health initiatives
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement, and data quality processes
- Governance & Compliance
- Adhere to practice policies including confidentiality, safeguarding, prescribing, infection prevention and control, and data protection
- Identify, manage, and report clinical and non-clinical risks appropriately
- Maintain full compliance with GMC, CQC, and NHS England standards
