Responsibilities
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and work closely with the General Manager. You will lead in the absence of the General Manager and help with ensuring care standards, motivating the team, and delivering person-centred care to residents. You will:
- Inspire a multidisciplinary team to help residents achieve the best possible quality of life
- Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits and supervised clinical practice
- Ensure regulatory compliance across the home
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals
About You
To join as Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. You should have experience supporting residents with diverse health needs, a track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments, HR experience, knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a history of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. You should also be compassionate, resilient and committed to delivering quality care in an engaging and energetic environment.
