We are looking for Radiographers with a commitment to outstanding patient care and high quality imaging to join our friendly and dynamic team at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. We have an x-ray equipment replacement programme underway. This is an excellent opportunity to be here at the inauguration.
Main duties of the job:
- You will undertake general, trauma and fluoroscopic radiography examinations guided by our departmental protocols whilst providing a high standard of imaging.
- We are looking for good communicators with an ability to work autonomously and in a team; someone with a proactive and flexible approach to provide the best care for our patients across the 24/7 service.

We are a busy radiology department undertaking examinations in a number of modalities, across 2 sites. The main facilities are Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital (BNHH) with satellite services at Alton Community Hospital.

- Essential: BSc or Diploma in Radiography, HCPC registration, Clinical radiography experience in last 12 months
- Desirable: Evidence of relevant CPD/image interpretation within 6 months
Experience and Knowledge:
- Essential: Experience of working within the NHS, Demonstrate sound knowledge of radiographic procedures, Computer literate, NHS Experience as a student
- Desirable: Experience in more than one hospital, Experience of working with students
Skills and ability:
- Essential: Excellent written communication skills, Evidence of knowledge of ALARP and IR(ME)R, Ability to work/communicate within a multi-disciplinary team
