As our Therapies service continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join our associate network and support referrals across Northamptonshire.
The Role
Working as an Associate Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide assessment, therapy and advice to children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs. Your work may include:
- Completing Speech and Language Therapy assessments
- Providing direct therapy and intervention
- Developing individualised communication plans and practical strategies
- Supporting communication across education, home and community settings
- Producing clear clinical reports and recommendations
- Working collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals
- Promoting inclusive and neuroaffirming approaches to communication
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
About You
We are looking for experienced Speech and Language Therapists with a strong understanding of working with children and young people. Relevant experience may include:
- Autism and ADHD
- Developmental Language Disorder
- Complex communication needs
- Receptive and expressive language difficulties
- Speech sound difficulties
- Social communication needs
- Sensory communication needs
- Experience working within educational settings
You will be an autonomous clinician with strong communication and report-writing skills and a commitment to person-centred, evidence-based and neuroaffirming practice.
