Role Responsibilities
- You will support the Practice Manager and ensure the smooth running of the practice, developing efficient management systems for IT, Human Resources, and Financial Management and delegating tasks appropriately.
- You will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the surgery, ensuring effective processing of all administrative work, liaison with the reception and administration team, and leading the attainment of Local, National, and APMS KPIs.
- You will promote the development of reception staff, identify training needs, provide support for their personal development reviews, and lead the reception staff appraisal system.
- You will supervise the reception team, coordinate support services for other team members, ensure rapid response to incoming telephone calls, record messages, and take immediate corrective action when needed.
