Hi, I’m Markku, Sales Director at MeetingPackage. We are now looking for a Senior Sales Manager (EMEA) to take ownership of expanding our footprint with medium‑to‑large hotel groups and venue customers. Right now at MeetingPackage, we’re living an exciting moment. We’ve built the foundation, and now it’s time to accelerate sales. During my 20+ years in sales, I’ve rarely come across an industry as diverse as hospitality — a highly varied customer segment with a wide range of needs and opportunities. We’re scaling: demand is growing, and we’re refining how we sell to larger hospitality clients. It’s fast‑paced and evolving, and ideal for someone who can build structure while closing deals.
You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. If you prefer a hybrid model, you can combine remote work with on‑site collaboration at our lovely office in Espoo, Finland.
In this role, you’ll get to…
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Work with medium‑to‑large hospitality customers (hotel groups, chains, large venues)
- Build a strong sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and smart targeting, supported by prospect lists curated by Marketing
- Run high‑quality discovery calls to understand customer pain points and workflows
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations
- Create proposals that clearly communicate value, ROI, and business impact
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline management in HubSpot
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, bringing insights from the field to improve our offering
- Participate in industry fairs and conferences to meet potential clients and network (approximately once per quarter, usually in Europe)
You’ll feel at home if you…
- Have strong B2B SaaS closing experience, ideally with €30k–€250k+ ARR deals
- Can manage complex, long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Build your own pipeline through strategic outbound, not only inbound leads
- Know how to navigate procurement, IT/security, integrations, legal, and leadership discussions
- Run a structured sales process: qualify well, control next steps, build champions, and move deals forward
- Can turn customer pain into clear business value, ROI, and commercial impact
- Understand hospitality, group sales, meetings & events, or revenue management, or are motivated to learn fast
- Are self‑directed, resilient, and comfortable in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment
- Are fluent in English. Business‑level language skills in German, French, Spanish, or Italian are a strong plus
- Are open to using AI and automation to improve how you prospect, follow up, and sell
- Have hotel tech experience (appreciated, but not mandatory)
Why now is a great time to join?
- We take good care of our people. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, uncapped commission tied to new ARR, and an option package. We also provide occupational healthcare (Heltti) and a weekly one‑hour workout break. In addition, you’ll get the tools and equipment of your choice, as well as support for your remote office.
- We’re on the move. We have enough capital to fuel our growth and are committed to finding the right people to build a company everybody enjoys working for.
- There’s room to grow. As we scale, there is strong potential for this role to grow into regional ownership, team leadership, or broader EMEA sales responsibility — if those opportunities interest you.
- You’re joining a team, not just a company. Together, we celebrate, brainstorm, and innovate.
- The industry is evolving. Hotels and venues have managed bookings manually for far too long. We’re helping our customers — and the industry — bring meeting and event booking online.
Our hiring process:
- Recruiter screening call
- First discussion with our Sales Director, Markku Pajarinen
- Home assignment
- Panel discussion + home assignment presentation
- Final discussion with our CEO
Ready to make an impact? If this sounds like your kind of challenge and you’re excited about building something meaningful while scaling sales in a fast‑moving environment, we’d love to hear from you.
