What You'll Do
- Welcome and assist customers, visitors and meeting room users
- Support customers face-to-face, by telephone and by email
- Help manage meeting room bookings and maintain booking records
- Prepare and send invoices and assist with general office administration
- Use computer systems to update customer information and records
- Prepare meeting rooms ready for customer use
- Set up tables, chairs and equipment for meetings and events
- Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and conferences
- Support the delivery of events and activities within the building
- Check meeting rooms after use and return them to the required standard
- Help keep customer areas clean, tidy and welcoming
- Carry out filing, scanning, printing and document preparation tasks
- Work alongside experienced colleagues and learn how a busy venue operates
- Identify and report maintenance or facilities issues
- Develop professional communication, customer service and organisational skills
Training Outcome
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time role within Meeting Point House, subject to business needs and individual performance.
