Our client is looking for two personal assistants for their son, who requires support accessing the community and with recreational activities, as well as with some personal care. Support is to be provided in a 2:1 capacity. Our client’s son has Level 3 Autism and is non-verbal in communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support accessing the community and recreational activities.
  • Assist with personal care.
  • Ensure safety and remain alert at all times.
  • Engage in clay modelling, water-related activities, indoor play areas, building activities and dinosaur-related play.
  • Manage behaviour, remaining assertive when necessary.
