We are supporting a well-established healthcare communications agency in the search for a Principal Medical Writer to join on a fixed-term basis, covering a period of sustained business activity. This role offers a strong blend of medical affairs and commercial work, with exposure to high-science therapy areas and opportunities to contribute to both strategic thinking and content development within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of medical affairs and commercial content across a variety of deliverables
- Support delivery of advisory boards, symposia, and consensus meetings
- Create sales materials, brand and unbranded campaigns, and digital content
- Contribute to HCP-facing digital ecosystems, including website and multimedia content
- Provide scientific review and quality assurance across projects
- Input into strategic discussions and content planning alongside senior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy and strategic alignment
Experience Required
- Experience at Principal Medical Writer level or strong Senior Medical Writer ready to step up
- Open to both permanent and freelance backgrounds
- Proven background across both medical affairs and commercial content
- Experience working across multiple therapy areas, ideally including oncology or rare disease
- Confidence in developing digital and multimedia content
- Strong scientific foundation
