As a Senior Medical Writer, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects across therapy areas, translating complex science into clear, engaging content. With a solid scientific foundation and strong writing skills, you’ll produce client-ready materials, support scientific communications, and begin to take ownership of client interactions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Writing
    • Develop clear, scientifically accurate content across formats—slide decks, video scripts, web copy, publications, summaries, and more.
    • Ensure materials meet client objectives, are appropriately referenced, and align with target audiences.
    • Present content updates to clients and liaise with subject matter experts to gain approvals.
    • Confidently attend onsite meetings and contribute to deliverables such as advisory boards.
    • Participate in internal data checking and provide basic content reviews for peers.
  • Scientific Engagement
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapy areas and products.
    • Conduct thorough literature research and integrate findings into deliverables.
    • Share key scientific developments with teams and clients.
  • Project Support
    • Join client meetings, contribute to project planning, and communicate updates clearly.
    • Help identify potential issues and escalate concerns when needed.
    • Follow SOPs, manage time effectively, and prioritize across accounts.
    • Work within allocated hours and ensure accurate, timely time tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Life Science Degree.
  • 2–3 years of medical writing experience in a medical communications setting.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with industry platforms (e.g., Veeva, DataVision) and regulatory codes (e.g., ABPI).
