Freelance Regulatory Specialist - 12 month contract. I am partnering with a fast-growing organisation operating at the intersection of regulatory affairs and technology. They are seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional who is interested in taking their expertise in a new, forward-looking direction.

If you come from Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Biotech and you’re curious about working in a more innovative, cross-sector, automation-focused environment, this could be a strong next step in your career.

The Opportunity

Rather than overseeing compliance for a single manufacturer, you will apply your regulatory expertise to help develop technology-driven compliance solutions that support a wide range of regulated industries. You will work closely with product and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into structured, automated logic that drives an advanced compliance platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand regulatory intelligence systems across multiple sectors
  • Translate regulatory requirements into workflows, automation logic, and structured rules
  • Contribute to cross-sector projects spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, chemicals, and biotech
  • Ensure regulatory content remains accurate, current, and aligned with market requirements
  • Act as a subject-matter expert through content development, webinars, and customer-facing engagement

Ideal Profile

  • Background in Regulatory Affairs or Compliance within Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices
  • Comfortable navigating diverse product categories and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong ability to digest and interpret new regulations and scientific topics quickly
  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel proficiency
  • Confident communicator who enjoys external engagement
  • Interest in technology, automation, and process-driven solutions

What’s in It for You

  • Opportunity to transition from executing compliance to shaping how it is delivered at scale
  • Exposure to a wide range of global markets and regulatory environments
  • Collaboration with senior leaders in a fast-growing, innovation-focused organisation
