Job Description

Core responsibilities – To deliver Powerpoint/Presentation projects, providing design and creative input as required.

Key Responsibilities

Presentation Design & Development

  • Adapt and redesign presentation slides and materials (including PowerPoint and other formats) in accordance with project specifications, ensuring timely delivery within the set budget.
  • Create and modify figures and tables based on raw data or existing content, using PowerPoint and/or design software like Illustrator.
  • Contribute to the creation of interactive features and animations tailored to project needs.
  • Repurpose and redesign existing presentation content into engaging, visually appealing formats, including data visualisation.
  • Design presentation templates that align with branding and project guidelines, ensuring proper use of design elements and masters.
  • Follow specific branding and style guidelines for all presentations and projects.
  • Provide on-site PowerPoint support to ensure the smooth delivery of meetings and events, as needed.

Project Management & Operational Support

  • Take direct briefs from internal stakeholders and actively participate in team brainstorming sessions.
  • Attend regular team meetings to review project timelines and progress on ongoing or upcoming tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including the project manager, to ensure timely project delivery, while proactively managing the scheduling of upcoming work.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a shared graphics and icons library for the team.

Training, Mentorship & Development

  • Stay informed on the latest trends and techniques in presentation design, sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Offer guidance on effective presentation design strategies and approaches.
  • Continuously improve personal skills and expertise (e.g., in Adobe software, Articulate) to meet evolving business needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in presentation or graphic design roles.
  • Experience in project management or team leadership.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • A graphic design qualification.
  • Previous experience within a medical communications agency.
