Role: Senior AI & Automation Architect Specialist
Space: Pharmaceutical / Digital Transformation
Location: Barkshire, Hybrid (1 day onsite per week)
Compensation: £60 - 80k Base + Bonus + Car Allowance

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving environment where AI initiatives are already gaining significant traction across the business.
The role will focus on developing practical AI and automation solutions, supporting stakeholders across Europe and helping shape how modern AI technologies are embedded into day-to-day operations.
Expectations:
- Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify and deliver AI and automation opportunities across multiple functions
- Develop AI-driven workflows, automations and digital solutions using Microsoft technologies and modern AI tooling
- Support the rollout and adoption of AI initiatives across European affiliates
- Build scripts, prompts and technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Create clear documentation, user guidance and technical reporting around delivered solutions
- Partner with internal users to understand challenges, gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
- Support wider enterprise applications and digital platforms where required
- Contribute ideas around process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong background in software development, applications, automation or technical solution delivery
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot and automation platforms
- Experience building practical solutions in fast-paced business environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within regulated industries with an understanding of governance and data management principles
- Comfortable writing scripts, developing automations and supporting AI-focused initiatives end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and bring forward new ideas
- Previous experience within pharmaceutical or other regulated environments would be highly beneficial
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms and business-critical applications
- Exposure to AI governance, operational AI or digital transformation projects
- Experience working across international teams or European business functions
- Vendor management or third-party technology exposure
