Medical Director – Oncology Innovation & Pipeline Strategy Location: Therapeutic Area: Oncology – Solid & Liquid Tumours Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid (60% Onsite) We are working closely with a global biopharmaceutical company to recruit a Medical Director within their oncology strategy group. This role supports the evaluation of mid-to-late stage external assets and contributes to the advancement of their therapeutic area strategy, with a specific focus on pre-launch readiness and Medical Affairs integration. Serve as the medical/scientific referent in evaluations of oncology assets across the pipeline Lead the creation of Target Product Profiles (TPPs) and contribute to asset due diligence Collaborate cross-functionally across R&D, Innovation, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Conduct deep scientific analysis and disease area landscaping Support early commercialisation strategy and Medical Affairs planning PhD preferred; Strong Medical Affairs experience with a focus on pre-launch activities Expertise in oncology – both solid and liquid tumour backgrounds welcomed Experience with external asset evaluation or BD is a plus Ownership of impactful strategy work across the oncology pipeline Weekly collaboration with senior leadership and a purpose-led, agile team environment A competitive UK compensation package including performance-based incentives, a company car allowance, and comprehensive benefits Hybrid working model with 60% onsite presence in the London Paddington office
