Role Overview: Meets’ Design service provides embedded, project-based and RPO talent solutions as an expansion of our client’s teams, directly addressing talent acquisition strategies that hinder growth in Life Sciences organizations. From full scale outsourcing to targeted support, our solutions are designed to optimize our client’s workforce and drive future success.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving new business growth by securing Design solutions with Life Sciences clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of winning complex deals, a deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry, and a strong network of contacts. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and target key Life Sciences clients for Design solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored Design proposals.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Represent the agency at industry events and conferences.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
- Leverage industry knowledge to develop compelling value propositions and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Life Sciences organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process and transition to the delivery team.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, marketing) to ensure seamless client onboarding and solution delivery.
- Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and service offerings.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
- Track and report on sales activities and progress against targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and pipeline development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in business development and sales, ideally within the recruitment or staffing industry.
- Demonstrated success in winning Design solutions, specifically within the Life Sciences sector: RPO, Embedded, Project Hiring.
- Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry and its talent acquisition challenges.
- Established network of contacts within the Life Sciences sector.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
