Are you a clinical physician in cardiology that is up to date with the latest developments in your specialised field? We are on the search for a dedicated clinical physician to join a reputable cardiology team on a 12-month contract in Europe. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, while actively contributing to the advancement of clinical practices in the field.

Location: Europe (hybrid model)

Duration: 12-month contract

Key responsibilities:

  • Clinical supervision: Deliver specialized cardiovascular supervision, including the assessment, treatment, and management of chronic and acute heart conditions such as arrhythmias and heart failure.
  • Instructing & Management: Provide learning and supervision to medical students and junior doctors by delivering a variety of training programs and sharing your proficiency in complicated clinical settings.
  • Organisational responsibilities: Maintain precise and prompt records of patient care. Actively participate in departmental meetings, clinical evaluations, and initiatives for service improvement to uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.
  • Outpatient Consultations & Interventions: Oversee consultations for outpatient patients and provide care for those needing hospitalization. Engage in both invasive procedures, such as coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker placements, as well as non-invasive diagnostic tests like echocardiograms and stress tests.

Key requirements:

  • Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent with full GMC registration and a current license to practice in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience: Experience in managing a vast range of cardiovascular diseases, including intricate conditions and developed interventions.
  • Speciality training: Completion of specialty training in Cardiology (CCT or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in clinical cardiology.
  • Additional desirable requirements: Proficiency in fields such as heart failure or arrhythmia.
