With a strong global reputation and significant success across Ireland, the business is now investing in UK growth, creating a newly established Business Development role with genuine greenfield scope.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to take ownership of a territory, represent premium technical products, and play a key role in shaping the company’s long-term success in the region.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building the UK market from the ground up. This is a hunter-focused position centred on new business generation, where you will:
- Drive new business development across the UK within pharma and biotech organisations
- Identify, target, and win new accounts through proactive outreach and relationship building
- Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline development, forecasting, and contract negotiation
- Maintain consistent CRM activity and reporting
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven track record in new business sales, ideally within validation, qualification, or technical equipment
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with evidence of winning and developing new accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with a structured approach to territory planning and pipeline management
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously in a remote environment
