We're partnering with an innovative biotechnology organisation to appoint an experienced Director, Data Management to provide strategic leadership and SME oversight across key clinical development programmes. This is a high-impact leadership position for an experienced Clinical Data Management professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail and proven experience managing CRO partnerships.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality data management deliverables, maintaining vendor accountability, supporting regulatory submissions, and leading inspection readiness activities ahead of significant development milestones.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide strategic leadership and Subject Matter Expert oversight across Clinical Data Management activities
  • Review study documentation, plans, deliverables, and processes to ensure quality and compliance
  • Identify risks, gaps, and process improvements proactively across ongoing programmes
  • Manage CRO performance, ensuring accountability for timelines, quality standards, and deliverables
  • Oversee database build activities in partnership with external vendors
  • Lead inspection readiness planning, preparation, and execution activities
  • Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical teams

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive Clinical Data Management experience within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
  • Previous Director-level or equivalent leadership experience
  • Strong Subject Matter Expertise in Clinical Data Management
  • Significant experience overseeing and managing CRO partnerships
  • Experience supporting regulatory submissions and inspection readiness activities
  • Proven ability to identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and drive high-quality outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of clinical development processes and regulatory requirements
