Global Asset Safety Lead – Safety Physician

London | Hybrid | Global Pharma

An exciting opportunity to shape and lead global safety strategy for a portfolio of innovative medicines, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance across all stages of development and commercialisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Take full accountability for safety surveillance, signal detection, and proactive risk management for assigned products.
  • Provide expert medical input into benefit–risk assessments, clinical development programmes, and life-cycle management.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans and safety components of regulatory submissions.
  • Respond to safety-related questions from health authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs, and represent the organisation at internal and external forums.
  • Support decision-making with data-driven safety insights and contribute to due diligence activities when needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • Medical degree (MD) with proven clinical judgement.
  • Industry experience in pharmacovigilance and/or clinical development; oncology or immuno-oncology expertise is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation, benefit–risk frameworks, and regulatory processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across global teams and work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
