We\’re working with a leading UK accreditation body to find a technically strong Assessment Manager to join their established team overseeing accredited testing organisations across sectors like agri-food, asbestos, and life sciences .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assessments (on-site and remote) of UK-based testing laboratories
- Evaluate technical competence and ensure compliance with accreditation standards (primarily ISO/IEC 17025)
- Write detailed, accurate assessment reports and provide professional recommendations
- Collaborate with a range of industry stakeholders including lab managers, quality leads, and auditors
- Travel across the UK to support national-level quality assurance
Ideal Background
