QA Officer - ASAP Start - (14 Month FTC)

We are working with a well-established pharmaceutical company who are looking to appoint a QA Officer on an urgent basis for an initial 12–14 month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality professional to join an established pharmaceutical environment and support a range of day-to-day Quality Assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Manage and support deviations, CAPAs, change controls and quality events through to completion.
  • Support the review and approval of relevant GMP documentation and records.
  • Assist with SOPs, quality documentation and controlled documents.
  • Support internal and external audits and inspections where required.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure ongoing GMP and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and escal quality issues and support appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Quality function.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience within a Quality Assurance / Quality role.
  • Good working knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
  • Practical experience with deviations, CAPA and/or change controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider Quality team.
