VEHICLE PREPPER – BODYSHOP – £17.28 PER HOUR (£40,435 PER YEAR)
Location: Paddock Wood
Pay: £17.28 per hour (£40,435 per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays
Note: You must have previous vehicle preparation experience to be considered for this role.
The Job
We need an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join a busy bodyshop in Paddock Wood. This is a full-time, permanent position with good pay and regular hours.

Your Daily Work
- Sanding and preparing vehicle surfaces
- Applying body filler to dents and damaged areas
- Masking vehicles properly for painting
- Priming surfaces to ensure good paint adhesion
- Preparing bumpers and panels for paint
- Making sure vehicles are ready for the paint stage
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
What You Need
- At least 1 year experience as a Vehicle Prepper in a bodyshop
- Good knowledge of sanding techniques and materials
- Experience with body filler application
- Skills in masking and priming
- Attention to detail
- Full driving license preferred
Experience with painting would be an advantage but is not essential.
