About Us: ME+EM is one of the UK's fastest-growing luxury fashion brands. In addition to a thriving global digital presence, we operate flagship stores in London and Edinburgh, concessions within Harrods and Selfridges, and have recently expanded with new store openings in the U.S. At ME+EM we are an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate group of people. We work hard, are enthusiastic to learn and are not afraid to take risks. Everyone contributes to our success at all levels, and that precisely what makes being a member of the team so rewarding. Our office and stores are always busy and fast paced, but we work just as hard to make sure it's fun, with social activities and biannual parties. We pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive, and welcoming and ensure that everyone's hard work is rewarded. It takes all these things to build a strong, successful business and our door is always open to new talent ready to contribute to our growth and evolution.

About the Role: As Stock Control Manager, you will be the backbone of our inventory operations. In a fast-paced fashion environment, you are not just managing physical products: you are the guardian of data integrity across our entire ecosystem. You will ensure that every SKU - across multiple collections, sizes, and colourways - is accurately reflected across our ERP, e-commerce platform, 3rd Party Warehouse Management, and Point of Sale (POS) systems. Partnering with key stakeholders in Merchandising, Retail, Finance and IT teams and our 3PL, you will report directly into the Operations Director with a dotted line into the Director of IT & Systems. There are currently no direct reports into this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy

Support and maintain exceptional stock accuracy across warehouse and retail locations, aiming for 98%+ accuracy. Manage the full stock lifecycle including deliveries, returns, transfers, markdowns, write-offs, code changes and end-of-season clearance activity. Coordinate and lead quarterly retail stock takes, weekly cycle counts, warehouse PI counts and annual audits. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies quickly and accurately across stores, warehouse and head office. Produce regular reporting on stock accuracy, stock loss and inventory discrepancies.

  • Systems & Data Integrity

Act as a key user across inventory systems, understanding stock movement between e-commerce, ERP and warehouse platforms. Perform reconciliations to ensure stock is accurately reflected across all business systems. Troubleshoot stock and systems issues, identify root causes and support process improvements. Generate detailed inventory and stock reports using Excel and BI tools to support Retail, Buying and Merchandising teams.

  • Compliance & Loss Prevention

Monitor shrinkage, damages and faulty stock across stores and third-party warehouses. Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve stock control processes. Support fraud prevention through reporting, checks and investigations. Help establish and maintain robust stock processes across warehouse, retail and head office operations.

Skills:

  • Experience within a stock control or inventory-focused role, ideally within fashion, retail or luxury environments.
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Advanced Excel skills with confidence handling large datasets and identifying trends or anomalies.
  • Highly analytical with a naturally investigative mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a clear understanding of the importance of inventory accuracy within retail.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for both operational and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised and confident working cross-functionally across warehouse, retail and head office teams.

  • 33 days annual leave for full time employees (25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays)
  • A day off to celebrate your birthday.

  • Annual Volunteer Day
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Tech Scheme
  • Eye Care Vouchers
  • Real Living Wage Employer
  • Employee led committees
  • Social events and biannual parties
