Location: Head Office, White City Place, West London

About the Role

ME+EM are looking for a proactive Junior People Advisor to join our People team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional people experience across our retail community. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to grow their HR expertise while making a real impact day-to-day. This role offers the chance to broaden your HR experience, get involved in a wide variety of people projects, and grow your career in a collaborative, forward-thinking team. Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for retail teams, providing clear and confident advice on policies and procedures.
  • Support with employee relations cases (probations, absence, performance) and escalate where needed.
  • Take notes and provide support during investigations and hearings.
  • Own key people processes across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to contract changes.
  • Keep PeopleHR records accurate, confidential, and up to date.
  • Assist in recruiting entry-level roles and support managers through the process.
  • Contribute to reporting, data analysis, and compliance with UK employment law.
  • Help refresh policies, handbooks, and internal documentation.
  • Support training, engagement, and development initiatives across the business.
  • Collaborate with payroll, external partners, and the wider People team on projects and improvements.

Skills

  • Experience in a People Coordinator/Advisor role.
  • Strong admin skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Great communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) preferred.
  • A discreet and professional approach when handling sensitive information.
