About the Role

Due to rising energy prices and the increasing impact of fuel poverty on local households, MVA is recruiting a full-time Energy Navigator. This role will provide targeted advice, guidance and practical support to residents struggling with energy costs, helping them to access financial support, improve energy efficiency and reduce the risk of fuel poverty. The Energy Navigator will work closely with individuals, families and partner organisations to ensure people receive timely, accurate information and are effectively signposted to appropriate support services.

About You

You will be organised, proactive and confident working across multiple areas. You’ll have strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting communities. Experience of providing advice or support either in person or on the telephone would be beneficial and we value transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Contract: Fixed-term 24 months

Location: MVA office (community-based, with outreach work)
