We are seeking a highly organised, welcoming and efficient Office Administrator to join our school office team. This is a key role, providing administrative and front‑of‑house support and helping to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the school. The office is the first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils, so we are looking for someone who is friendly, professional and approachable.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact within school
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail/emails
- Preparation of documentation to parents via ParentMail
- To be responsible for the maintenance of the pupil database via SIMS
- Update the school website
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of working in a busy admin or office role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with all members of the school community
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to act with tact, discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience of SIMS is preferred
- An understanding of Data Protection and GDPR
