Medway Parents and Carers Forum is recruiting 4 SEND Parent Carer Champions.
- Paid role - 6 hours per week
- Training and support provided
- Opportunity to influence Education, Health and Social Care services
As a Parent Carer Champion, you will:
- Represent the views and experiences of local parent carers
- Attend strategic meetings and co-production groups
- Help shape local SEND services and support improvements
- Gather feedback from families and ensure their voices are heard
- Work alongside professionals to make a real difference for SEND children, young people and their families
We know many of our volunteers already dedicate their time, energy and experience to supporting families across Medway, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do. These new paid opportunities will be recruited through a fair and open process, and we warmly encourage anyone who feels passionate about improving SEND services to apply.
You must be a parent carer from Medway.
Together, we can ensure parent carer voices remain at the heart of decision-making in Medway.
