We are recruiting for a Dietetic Apprentice who shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff., The dietetic team sits within a wider therapy team, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy staff. The dietetic team has 14 dietitians, 4 dietetic assistants and a dietetic apprentice. The dietetic team is divided into sub-teams depending on speciality and paediatrics is also part of the acute service. Band 5 Dietitians have the opportunity to participate in rotational training between acute medicine / frailty, general medicine / gastroenterology / oncology, surgical / critical care and paediatrics.

The post holder will be part of an undergraduate apprenticeship programme in collaboration with Teesside University, having taught lectures 1 day / week and working as a dietetic assistant throughout training.
