Duties
- Completing Child and Family Assessments for children with disabilities
- Undertaking assessments of children's needs, including complex and high-level support needs
- Working closely with children, young people, parents and carers to identify appropriate support and services
- Completing Section 17 assessments and safeguarding enquiries where necessary
- Managing a varied caseload and working in a fast-paced team
- Working collaboratively with education, health, SEN and other partner agencies
- Participating in strategy meetings and multi-agency meetings where necessary
- Developing and reviewing support plans to ensure children's needs are being met
- Assessing the needs of families and identifying appropriate packages of support and interventions
- Promoting positive outcomes, independence and improved quality of life for children with disabilities
Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
